If you are looking for a "Destination Wedding" look
no further. Coakley House combines the style of an Old World
"summer cottage" with contemporary comfort. Its unique
design--with 35 windows and seven doors!--takes full advantage
of magnificent water views and breezes from any direction as
the house sits on the point of the inlet of Fresh Creek.
Exchange your vows on our small sandy beach while the sun sets
or on the waterfront patio while the early morning sun rises.
Dominating the house is a large living room with two large picture
windows on the north and south side, and four doors to the outside.
Sharing this view via a spectacular bay window is a dining room.
Coakley House has central air throughout. Three of the rooms
are matching master bedrooms, each with sea views and private
full bathroom. The fourth bedroom offers land views of the front
entrance and gardens. Every bedroom has a private full bath.
The villa also features a full working kitchen, with upright
refrigerator/freezer, 2 restaurant size ice machines, gas stove,
as well as a laundry room. The main house serves as the perfect
family/guest accommodation. We also have access to additional
rooms and a 3 bedroom home next door for larger wedding parties.
For our bride and groom we have a beautiful one bedroom private
cottage located on the property complete with central air, full
kitchen,laundry, outdoor shower, and private back yard.
The two acres of land on which the house sits include a 120-foot
wooden dock for boat pick-up, a small sandy cove for swimming
access, and a waterfront patio. 3 ocean kayaks are available
for use.
Coakley Houses'superb location makes it ideal for a romantic
backdrop to the begining of your new lives together.
Plan on enjoying your honeymoon at this dream destination. Andros
offers some of the greatest flats fishing, reef fishing, and
diving in the world. Coakley House is located on the central
east coast of Andros, where the 20-mile waterway of Fresh Creek
meets the sea. Fresh Creek is known for its shallow water flats.
Furthermore, the Andros Barrier Reef the third largest barrier
reef in the world, it is just one mile from shore. We can help
with all the fishing and diving arrangements. Fishing guides
can pick you up right at the Coakley House.
The airport is only 3 miles from the house
and we can arrange our plane to fly you and your guests directly
to the island. Commercial flights are also available.
